      BOUNCE BACK FROM BLISTERS

Prevention is always the best treatment. Test out new shoes, gloves or gear before use or pre-treat areas with a cushioned tape. If you blister, follow these tips to bounce back quick:

      • Leave it alone.
Most blisters pop on their own; bursting them too soon can cause infections. Always wash your hands before and after touching a blister.
      • Watch for infection.
If your pain gets worse and is paired with a fever, or if redness appears, call your doctor and have it checked.
      • Get back out there.
Once you’ve cleaned and protected your blister, you don’t have to wait for it to heal. Use cushioned tape or blister bandage to enjoy activities without missing a beat.
